These terms apply to your use of Upload Assistant, a tool operated by the Upload Assistant team ("we") that prepares YouTube upload packages from a video's transcript. If your organisation has a separate written agreement with us, that agreement takes priority where the two differ.
Access is by invitation. We create accounts for named people at the businesses we work with, and you sign in with your own Google account. Do not share your access with anyone else; ask us to add or remove people instead.
The transcripts and other material you upload, and the packages produced from them, remain yours. You confirm that you have the right to upload that material and to have it processed to produce your package. Our Privacy Policy explains how it is handled.
Descriptions, chapters and tags are written by an AI model and can contain mistakes. Review every package before you publish it. You are responsible for what you publish.
Short links are created in your own Bitly account, using the access token you provide, and are subject to Bitly's terms and the limits of your Bitly plan.
Each organisation has a monthly limit on the number of packages it can generate. Do not try to get around that limit, interfere with the service, access another organisation's data, or use the tool for anything unlawful.
We work to keep Upload Assistant available and accurate, but it is provided as it is, without a guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. It relies on services from Google, Anthropic, Bitly and our hosting provider, and can be affected when they are.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Upload Assistant, including loss caused by content you publish.
You can stop using Upload Assistant at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or if we stop offering the service.
If we change these terms we will update the date at the top of this page, and tell you directly if the change is significant.
For questions, contact the person at the Upload Assistant team who set up your account.
